The adjustable long shackle is a huge plus because it makes it easy to fit through different latch sizes and setups without struggling.The 4 digit combination feels secure and is easy to set and remember. I also like not having to worry about keeping up with a key, especially during busy show days.It feels solid and well made, with a durable zinc alloy body that holds up well to outdoor conditions. We've used it in varying weather, and it continues to work smoothly without sticking or rusting.Overall, this is a reliable and convenient lock that gives me peace of mind when leaving our tack unattended. This is a solid lock that uses a 4-digit combo. It's very easy to set a custom combo. Just enter in the current one, flip the switch, set a new one, flip the switch back, and you're done. The build is very solid, and I like the unique long shackle on it. It adds more dimension to it that smaller shackles would limit how you can use them. It has a slim base to it and looks attractive, as well. If you need a combination padlock, this is an excellent option. Recommended.

That's good too if you absolutely don't want any possibility of ever accidentally changing the combo.I have other locks that require no tools at all, but I always worry how easy it is to change the combo on them as all you have to do on those is flip the loop backwards, press down, and turn the dials to set a new code.Straightforward and reliable. Does exactly what you expect.

It also comes with its own mini Phillips screwdriver for unscrewing the small switch for resetting the 4 digit code. Changing to my code of choice was very easy and beats out any of those built in 3 digit zipper locks that can be opened so easily.The product has great size flexibility to adjust to an array of situations. The latch slides in and out with easy when unlocked and is clearly a force to be reckoned with when locked. I love how the reset switch is hidden away, but you obviously need the combo in order to utilize it. I will use this lock for a variety of purposes. Only wish they made one compatible for TSA and travel!
